Gertrude Street Projection Festival 2019 – Resist: Persist: Shift, marked the 12th anniversary of the annual Fitzroy community-based festival.
Curated and produced in collaboration with the Centre for Projection Art, the 2019 festival included street based projection works, an interactive space, and a number of live events across 9 nights in July.
Through themes of desire, disruption and subversion, artists explored and negotiated the notion of resistance within our changing social, environmental, political and urban landscapes.
